Coastal Family Residence
Ghana
A two-storey seaside home with sculptural stone-clad fins, frameless glass balconies and deep framed openings that capture the ocean views.
The challenge
Making the most of the sea views while protecting the home from strong sun, wind and salt air.
Our solution
Deep framed recesses shade the large windows, stone-clad fins give the façade texture and privacy, and frameless glass balconies keep the views open.
Outcomes
- Upper-floor balconies frame the sea view
- Stone-clad fins add texture and privacy
- Deep recesses shade the main windows
