Afro-Contemporary Home Interior
Ghana
A double-height family interior pairing carved African masks and rattan pendants with warm timber joinery, soft lighting and an indoor garden.
The challenge
Bringing warmth and personal heritage into a tall, open-plan space without it feeling cold or cluttered.
Our solution
A dark feature column displays a curated collection of masks, oversized rattan pendants bring the double-height ceiling down to a human scale, and lit timber shelving and an indoor garden beneath the floating staircase add warmth.
Outcomes
- Feature wall celebrating African art
- Lit timber shelving and display niches
- Floating staircase with an indoor garden beneath
